Thank you
Xaviera,
Like so many others, I found "The Happy Hooker" among my parents' things. They never saw it again, but I put the book to good use.
Thanks for opening my mind and heart. You taught me to enjoy every aspect of my ***uality.
I consider you an important early influence on my life.
Love you. Thanks!

Loving "The Happy Hooker" book
I'm 30 and just heard of your book, "The Happy Hooker". I'm halfway through and felt compelled to let you know how great it is. Your story is ***, you are very brave, and your text holds up in 2013 as though you wrote it yesterday. BRAVO, MADAM!

Groetjes,
Jouw onbekende neefje:
Robbert

X,
I was 13 when I discovered your book in my Dad's closet in 1975. You were the first, the best, the only for many years. erm, apart from the boys.
You shaped and left an indelible mark on my psyche, which remains today.
I would so much love to come and enjoy the off-stage familial environs in your pics - there's a certain 'circle of life' that would be finally fulfilled.
In lieu of that, at least I can touch you with this email.
You made a difference in my life. You allowed me to liberate my thinking.
You are, indelibly, a part of me.
Silk touches and brief hugs,
Doug

Hi, I have been listening to your audio version of 'The Happy Hooker' and I LOVE IT! You have such a great memory for details! Some pretty sexy stuff there, Ms. X!
I bought it from your site. I'm so happy to finally hear your sexy voice after all these years. I used to read the PH magazine advice column. It brings back fond horny memories!
Thank you for all you have done for the world in your life and career. I admire you greatly & I think that if there were a Saint for Sex, you should be it! Working women need to be respected.
I have great respect for sex workers, male and female. So many of us humans are lonely, sex/love starved and sad. I have personally never met with a 'hooker', but I know a few fellows who have and I admire the ladies who perform the often much needed 'services'.
I would like to hear about your thoughts on what HIV/AIDS did to the sex industry. Were condoms used back in the 70s for protection from stds/pregnancy in brothels? I am assuming they were. I wish the working conditions for so many women in the sex trade would get better. There is so much drug and alcohol addiction in 'the life' and so much physical violence. It is often so very sad.
I would love to receive a personally autographed item from you:, a photo, a note card, something like that.Is this possible?
Thanks!
BE WELL!
Peace.

Having visited Amsterdam many times before on numerous business trips, I’d never managed to be present around
‘Queensday’ which is celebrated each year at the end of April. My English friends kept telling me for years how I missed out on this event. Apparently there was so much to do and see, music and dance in the street as well as on many local boats in the canals and the largest
Free-flea market.
So I finally made it this year. Thinking it would be ok to arrive about 1 day before, coming
from Brussels straight after a work meeting, I couldn’t have been more wrong, for Amsterdam was packed with people, many hotels
turned out to be fully booked! I was told not to go too far out of the centre, since public transport would not run on Queensday.
I rang a dear friend for advice and was given Xaviera Hollanders’ B&B address & tel.number for he’d managed to find himself and his IT crew this address while working at the RAI centre and had nothing but praise for this address, practically round the corner of the RAI and a 10 min. walk
from the WTC station from where I’d made the call.
At the time I was unaware I was going to meet, eat and sleep at the amazing villa of Xaviera Hollander, author of ‘The Happy Hooker’ the
intriguing famous book I’d read as a teenager and her gorgeous husband Philip. The villa’s situated in a posh quiet part of Amsterdam, right around the
corner of the Beethovenstraat, with it’s elegant designer shops, great restaurants and a large handy ‘Sainsbury’s like superstore.
The tram/bus stop for the 20 min. ride to the center is found on 5 min. from the B&B, it couldn’t be easier.
I was greeted by Philip, two lovely dogs and was thrilled to spot two duplicates of my own Siamese cats fast asleep in their basket.
Philip introduced me to Xaviera Hollander and I have to admit I felt quite star struck, a feeling that has not left me since….
There, sitting in the sun on their patio, I was drinking tea with this amazing, youthful, energetic woman who’d made me forget how tired
I actually was. My room was clean and inviting, however strictly forbidden for the cats & dogs.
Queensday morning started with a warm greeting from Philip and a superb breakfast shared with the other guests from Canada & Hungary.
Later that evening I enjoyed a splendid dinner prepared by Philip and enjoyed every minute of the warm. cozy ambiance, the great stories
and the feeling of being amongst friends. I had the pleasure of staying in this amazing place for four days but have already booked a week
in July when I will be visiting the ‘Floriade Garden & flower show’. I highly recommend this B&B and the amazing vibrant couple who run it, to
anyone who loves animals ( even your own pets are welcome),clever conversation and amazing objects d’art.

Hello Ms. Hollander,
I read your first book as a teen and loved every bit of it, as well as your advice column. Now that I am in my 50's, I have started to research this lifestyle and I feel very drawn to it.
I would be honored to receive any private advice from you, if at all possible. I know your life is busier now than it ever has been, so I understand if a private consult is out of the question.
Thank you for your openness and advice you have offered through your books and through your articles in Penthouse over the years!
